The Formora Form Builder Interface - Design, Configure, and Launch

Understanding the Builder Interface

The Form Builder is typically divided into a few key areas:

General Workflow in the Builder

Building a form in Formora generally follows these steps:
1

Start a New Form

From your dashboard, click ”+ New Form” and choose to start from scratch or select a pre-built template.
2

Add Fields

Drag desired field types from the Toolbox onto the Form Canvas.
3

Configure Field Properties

Select each field on the canvas and use the Properties Panel to customize its label, placeholder, validation, and other settings. Refer to Field Properties.
4

Arrange and Organize

Reorder fields on the canvas by dragging them. For longer forms, consider using Layout Elements like headings or page breaks (for multi-page forms).
5

Configure Form-Level Settings

Select the form itself (e.g., by clicking outside any field or on its title) and use the Properties Panel to set the form title, layout & theming, submission behavior, and other form-wide options.
6

(Optional) Implement Conditional Logic

Set up rules to show or hide fields, or skip pages based on user input. See Conditional Logic.
7

Save & Preview

Regularly Save your work using the button in the top bar. Use the Preview button to see how your form looks and behaves.
8

Publish & Share

Once you’re happy with your form, Publish it to make it live. Then, use the Share/Embed options to distribute it. See Sharing & Embedding.
